Saralisa Volm is a filmmaker and, as an art historian, repeatedly explores the boundaries between film, text and visual art in her work. Her directorial film debut, THE SILENT FOREST premiered at the Berlinale 2022 and was shortlisted for the German Film Award 2023. Saralisa's new TV film AM ENDE DER WAHRHEIT celebrated its premiere at the Munich Film Festival 2024 . She recently finished shooting her first Tatort SCHWESTERNLIEBE. Saralisa is a member of the German and European Film Academy.
